In the Old Testament, God spoke through a burning bush, a pillar of cloud, and an audible voice — but at Christmas, He came in person, in a human body, to talk with people face-to-face (Matthew 1:23).
• Christ: Jesus is "The Chosen One" who died so that we could have eternal life. In the Old Testament, kings, prophets, and priests were anointed with oil to show they were chosen. But Jesus is the ultimate King, Prophet, and Priest — not "a" chosen one, but "THE" Chosen One, the Christ, the Messiah (Luke 2:11).
