🧪 What Kids Will Learn

Through 2 gospel-centered Bible lessons for kids — each illustrated by a hands-on science experiment — kids will discover what really happened that first Easter and why it changes everything:

• Lamb of God: The Passover Lamb was a picture of Jesus. Just like the Passover lamb had to be spotless, was sacrificed, and had its blood placed on the doorframe to save the family inside, Jesus — the perfect Lamb of God — died in our place to save everyone who believes in Him (John 1:29).
• Firstfruits: Jesus is the "firstfruits" of the resurrection. The first bundle of wheat a farmer harvests is a sign that the rest of the harvest is coming. In the same way, Jesus' resurrection shows that all believers will be raised someday too, in bodies that will never get sick or die again (1 Corinthians 15:20).

🔬 Why Science Experiments?

Kids don't just hear the lesson — they experience it. Each week, a hands-on science experiment turns an abstract Bible truth into something kids can see, touch, and take home as a faith reminder — the perfect Easter object lesson. For example, kids will watch a candle representing Jesus' life go out as an invisible gas (carbon dioxide) is poured over it — a sober, unforgettable reminder that Jesus, the Lamb of God, gave up His life for us. Then, on Easter Sunday, they'll make a contraption with a drawing of Jesus that lies flat in the tomb… until — Surprise! — it pops up with a twist, so kids can retell the story of Jesus' resurrection to their friends.
